Vegan chocolate and orange mousse

Hello everybody! This vegan chocolate and orange mousse recipe is perfect for hot summer days when you want to indulge in something sweet but light at the same time. It's just perfect if you are going to the beach, just bring it in your mason jar as a snack. Might as well have it in the morning as breakfast with some fruit, as a late-night after-dinner dessert with some white wine. Delicious!!

Let's get right on that recipe. :)

Alternative ingredients are listed as well.

Ingredients:

Silken firm Tofu

Coconut sugar/ maple syrup

Vegan chocolate/ or any milk chocolate

Cacao powder

Coconut oil

Plant milk/ cows milk

Orange zest

First things first, you are gonna need a blender/ processor. Chop up the tofu into cubes and put them into the blender. Add a dash of plant milk into blender, so the tofu can blend easier. Blend until smooth. Next, you're gonna melt the chocolate on the stove. Put some water in the skillet and place it onto the stove to heat. Place a plate with chocolate in it on the skillet, add coconut sugar and coconut oil. Mix the ingredients until everything melts. When everything is melted, add the mixture into the blender with tofu. Lastly, add some orange zest into the blender and blend everything together again. In the end, you should be left with thick mousse. Serve chilled in small mason jars or in bowls.

They can last up to 6 days in the fridge.

Easy as that :)

Enjoy!
